El Mercadito

ElMercadito-SocialIcon_edited.jpg

El Mercadito, Latino Farmers market, is an outdoor cultural market held the last Saturday of every month at AM Cannon Park from 11am to 3pm. El Mercadito was developed to create access to free fresh cultural foods, medical services with CHAS walk-in street clinic, cultural activities, and provide support for local entrepreneurs and organizations to showcase their products and services.

Every month we serve over 200 families, distribute 7000 lbs of free fresh food, and provide thousands of dollars in vouchers to support BIPOC food businesses.

El Mercadito is entirely volunteer-led. We partner with Second Harvest, NW Harvest, the Department of Commerce, CHAS Clinic, and other community groups to host El Mercadito throughout the entire year.
